Zipfo 2.01
Copyright 1993 Maritime Computer Services
Zipfo will quickly give you vital information about zipfiles.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The syntax is zipfo <zipfile.zip>, or you can omit the zip extension.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The utility will tell you which version of pkzip was used to create
the zipfile, the uncompressed size of the file, if it should be
unzipped with -d (recursed subdirectories), and if it should be
unzipped with -$ (volume label). It will also let you know if the
file is compressed with maximum compression - if not, you should
get PKPRES12.ZIP (pkpress). Also, zipfo will let you know if there
is a FILE_ID.DIZ present or not. This is handy to know before
uploading a file.
Zipfo if freeware, but it is not public domain. The code cannot be
changed in anyway, and you are free to distribute it as long is
contains the following files, unchanged:
ZIPFO.EXE
ZIPFO.DOC
FILE_ID.DIZ (the original)
If you wish to use this utility in your own program, you must notify me
